Youth Entrepreneurship
Join us for a 3-week online entrepreneurship program for Black & Racialized Youth Ages 15-25 in Durham Region! Learn to start, run and grow their own businesses. Through workshops, mentorship opportunities, and networking events, participants will gain valuable skills and knowledge to turn their ideas into reality. Whether you have a specific passion or just an interest in entrepreneurship, this program is a perfect place to start your journey as a young innovator. Each youth participant can receive up to $250 to start your business venture!
Topics we touch on
Friday February 21st, 2025 3-5pm
Intro to Entrepreneurship, learning about the various industries and markets, understanding different types of business
Friday February 28th, 2025 3-5pm
Building a Business Plan, Business Registration, Brand awareness and marketing, Product research.
Friday March 7th, 2025 3-5pm
Networking with business development programs and researching business grants or loans.
DISCLAIMER: This program is for black & racialized youth ages 15-25 living in the Durham Region! Participants who have previously attended this workshop and recieved the $250 Youth Support Package, will NOT be qualified to recieve it again. You are more than welcome to join in on the session. Only new participants to the workshop are eligible for the $250 Youth Support Package.
